ANTIGUA GUATEMALA TYPICO COOKING SCHOOL IN LA PEÑA
Mariela, Norma, Maria and the staff in the cocina are holding typico Guatamalan Cooking Classes the first Saturday & the third Saturday of every month, 9AM till Noon.
$40 gets a fantastic cup of Antigua Coffee, 3 hours of school and then eat the wonderful food you cooked!
(with a glass of wine or other beverage)
After lunch, Mariela will take the class to the mercado to see in person where to buy the best ingredients. (and what to pay)

La Peña de Sol Latino offers Salon Rojo. It´s a comfortable and private space where you can hold any kind of event from a fun family reunion,reception or a business meeting. We are commited to provide the comfort and excellence that you are accustomed to. We can customize our service to your requirements. Every month we offer free space for NGO´s, public service groups, schools, and musical groups for training, education, and fund raising.

The 2nd Saturday Every Monh, Los Niños de Aguas Calientes, ages 5 to 14, perform Mayan dances in Typico costume to the music of the marimba, canas, bombos and pan flutes all played very well by the children. All donations are for the education of these children of Aguas Calientes. The Niños will perform next on Saturday May 12 at 1 PM. It is great fun!!!!

La Peña offers CARLOS TRUJILLO for an afternoon and evening of Classical/latin Guitar. Music for quiet fine dining in our wonderful garden. Maybe follow your delightful Mero Macadamia (grilled grouper) with a capachino and Chef Ishmal´s world class choclate mousse. One of the musician owners, BILL might join CHARLIE and play the congas.
